Invitation letter - Registration

All participants of the Olympiad and the Congress have to be registered by the assigned delegation administrator of the National Federation. 

Please note, that after this date and until 10th of August, the registration of the federations will be at the organizer's discretion and subject to a penalty fee of 100 EUR per person (late registration penalty).

The changes made in the team composition or new registrations made between 18th of April to 10th of July will be accepted without any penalty.

After 10th of August no new registrations will be accepted but changes in the delegations and teams’ composition implying registrations of new participants (substitutions) will be accepted until 5th of September.

In those countries where a Reverse delegate has been appointed, it is him/her who is eligible to register the teams/delegation. The penalty fees for late registration will not be applied in those countries where a Reverse Delegate has been appointed.

The organizers have elaborated a special online system for the participants of the Olympiad and the FIDE Congress. This feature is available for every national delegation via invitation that has been sent to the delegation administrators of each national federation.

The individual registration to every other category - FIDE representatives, congress participants, press/media, broadcast, arbiters, expo/partners etc. - is available via invitation only. The representatives of press/media can apply for accreditation here. Everyone else representing any other above mentioned category, please expect a personal invitation via email as soon as the registration of the specific category goes live.

The accompanying persons of the teams may be registered by the Federations or the appointed FIDE Reverse Delegates only. Accompanying persons are required to pay a total of 100 EUR fee to the LOC upon finalizing the registration, prior to arrival.

By payment of the registration fee accompanying persons will have access to event transport services from official hotel to Olympiad event side and will receive accreditation to the Fan Zone / Expo area. The matches will be viewable from the stands on the first floor of the playing venue.

All further costs associated with Accompanying persons will need to be considered on a self-paid basis (hotel room, catering services, etc.)

Registration of the FIDE Congress participants is the same as for the teams. The FIDE Congress participants may register from 18th of April to 10th of July 2024 through the official registration system of the Olympiad. As for the Delegates, change of the delegate name is eligible if the Delegate has been changed according to the Article 3.6 of the Electoral Rules.
